God’s love accepts you just as you are—with your junk, your mistakes, your lies, your defiance, your pride, etc. Knowing that kind of love from the Father is what will really bring change in your life. It is amazing that His love that ultimately comes to us when we are covered in junk is exactly what will drive the change that takes place in our lives. When Jesus’ Truth is expressed in His love that reaches out to the undeserving, the undeserving follow Him.

We should long to be near Him. We should long to be broken so that He can restore us in His image. Anything lesser than that which glorifies Jesus is worthless. Give it all up to follow Him because He is worthy. 

Allow Him to come burn in your life, & He promises to come and to begin to change you. He is constant, and He longs to restore the hearts and minds of those who really seek Him. His path is good, and He will work in your life in crazy ways beyond anything you could even try to expect. 

God, come burn in us. Remove everything that gets in the way of You restoring us as Your sons and daughters. We give You total control, full reign. I want to be near You. I want to be broken, so that I can be remade. You are making me new, and I praise You for that. Thank You for loving and accepting me when I am undeserving. Your love is steadfast and Your faithfulness is unwavering.

Insights on Scripture

“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7

When we are abiding in Christ and letting His words guide our life, what we ask for will ultimately be His desires for His Kingdom. How ready must Jesus be to answer prayers that we offer up for the things that He has given us to do? 

Read Scripture today, and pray according to the heart of Jesus. Don’t worry so much about your own desires, but seek His Kingdom first. He is ready and willing to move in huge ways when those huge ways advance His Gospel.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
